The top is smooth and unbroken, its edge eased all the way round, so nothing interrupts the sweep of the grain. It gives a living room a carved focal point without adding bulk in front of the seating.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood under a hand-applied protective surface

Continuous sculpted pedestal instead of separate turned legs

Oval top with a softly eased edge and no visible hardware

Base spreads outward at floor level for a settled, balanced stance

Open span beneath the top keeps the seating area feeling uncluttered

Grain, figure and wood eyes stay readable through the finish

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The pedestal is the whole argument of this table: it is carved so the form rises, folds and broadens again without a straight line anywhere along its length. Our makers work it from thick kiln-dried stock, shaping each face by hand and blending the transitions until the surface flows rather than steps. The oval top is planed flat, then eased round its perimeter so it feels soft under the forearm. Base and top are dry-fitted before finishing, and any rock is corrected at the feet rather than packed out later. The protective coat is rubbed in by hand, which keeps the texture of the timber open instead of sealing it under a film.

Placement & Use

It is happiest centred in front of a sectional or a long sofa, where the carved base can be read from several seats at once. The oval outline also suits a room where people walk past the table often, since there is no corner waiting at shin height.

Care & Customization

Dust with a soft dry cloth and lift spills straight away rather than letting them stand on the surface. Keep the table clear of radiators, damp walls and long spells of direct sun, and rest a pad under anything hot or wet. Sizing and tone finish can both be tailored before production begins.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
