executive-wooden-desk-with-four-drawers-and-wide-surface-for-workspace
Executive Wooden Desk With Four Drawers and Wide Surface for Workspace

An executive desk in Natural Solid Wood, built with a thick rectangular top that spans from a solid slab panel at one end to a four-drawer pedestal at the other. Between them the centre is left completely open, so there is nothing to work around when you pull a chair in. It suits a home office or a study that is used properly every day.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood, gently finished to keep the grain tactile

Four stacked drawers built into a pedestal at one end of the desk

Solid slab panel carries the opposite end with no visible hardware

Open centre leaves clear, uninterrupted legroom

Broad flat worktop with room for a screen, a keyboard and papers at once

Thick top edge gives the desk a grounded architectural presence

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The asymmetry is deliberate: a weighted pedestal at one end and a plain panel at the other, so the desk reads as architecture rather than as a table with a box pushed under it. Our makers join solid wood blocks for the top, plane it flat and then ease the edge so a forearm can rest on it through a long working day. Each drawer is fitted to its own opening and adjusted until the gaps between the fronts run even from the top of the stack to the bottom. The slab panel is dressed on both faces, because in an open room the inside of it is on show. Everything is dry-fitted and trued before the finish is worked in by hand.

Placement & Use

Put it against a wall or float it in the middle of a room; the panel end is finished well enough to be seen from behind. It gives a writer, a designer or anyone working from home a surface broad enough to spread out on without pushing things onto the floor.

Care & Customization

Dust the top with a soft dry cloth and wipe the drawer fronts along the grain. Keep the desk out of direct sun and away from damp walls or heat vents, and use a mat under mugs and glasses. Sizing and tone finish can both be tailored before production begins.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
