floating-media-console-with-vinyl-storage-and-natural-solid-wood-cabinet
Floating Media Console with Vinyl Storage and Natural Solid Wood Cabinet

Hung from the wall and finished in Natural Solid Wood, this media console keeps records upright in open bays at one end, leaves an open shelf through the middle and closes the far end with two drawers. The floor stays entirely clear beneath it, which is what gives the piece its floating line.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood and mounted directly to the wall

Open bays at one end, spaced for record sleeves to stand upright

An open shelf through the middle for equipment in regular use

Two drawers closing the opposite end for concealed storage

Softly rounded outer frame tying the open and closed sections together

Floor left completely clear, which makes a room feel less crowded

Long top surface that takes a turntable alongside a soundbar

Design & Craftsmanship

Suspending a console that holds records means the back rail has to carry real weight, so it is made heavy and let into the case rather than screwed on. The record bays are partitioned at full depth so sleeves stand square, the central shelf is left open for airflow around equipment, and the drawers at the end run on their own guides with pulls cut into the faces. The outer frame is radiused right around. Natural Solid Wood throughout, hand sanded and sealed with a thin protective coat.

Placement & Use

Made for a sound, well-built wall in a living room, listening room or apartment lounge where floor space is scarce. It suits a setup where the turntable lives on top and the collection sits below.

Care & Customization

Dust the open bays and shelf with a soft dry cloth, since sleeves shed paper. Clean marks with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid damp and sustained direct sun. Size and tone finish can both be tailored to your wall before production starts.

Shipping & Assembly

This piece arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to build: it is packed as a single unit with protective materials and only needs mounting to the wall. Mounting instructions are included.

Good to Know

Listing includes the media console only — the television, wall bracket, media devices, speakers and decorative items shown in the photographs are not included.

The layout is open record bays, one open shelf and two drawers, with no cabinet doors.

Each media console is handcrafted, so grain, texture and tone vary from piece to piece.

Grain lines, knots and mineral streaks are natural characteristics of solid wood rather than faults.

Every piece is made to order, so a short production period applies before dispatch.

Wall screws and anchors are not supplied, because the correct fixings depend on your wall type.

Professional installation is recommended so the cabinet is anchored into sound structure.

Production updates available upon request.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0805/4318/7174/files/floating-solid-wood-tv-stand-vinyl-storage-rounded-media-console_1.webp?v=1790042420
https://arboriswood.com/products/floating-media-console-with-vinyl-storage-and-natural-solid-wood-cabinet
