The contrast is deliberate: a busy outline above, a calm column below. It brings a touch of the garden indoors without tipping into ornament.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood and sealed with a protective coat

Petal-lobed top with a flowing outline and a fully rounded edge

Plain tapered pedestal that widens gently toward the floor

Surface planed level, so cups and books sit flat on it

Open beneath the top with no legs or stretchers in the way

Each lobed outline is cut by hand and is never quite the same

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The top is shaped from joined blocks of kiln-dried solid wood, with each lobe swelling and each valley hollowing until the outline flows without a flat spot. Our makers round the edge from both faces so the rim feels full rather than sharp, and they keep the top level throughout, which matters more on a shaped edge than on a plain circle. The pedestal is turned and pared from solid stock into a simple taper, left unadorned so it does not compete with the top. Column and top are dry-fitted before finishing, so the surface seats true with nothing packed beneath it. The final coat is worked in by hand and kept low in sheen.

Placement & Use

Stand it beside an armchair or a sofa arm, where the lobed edge shows against straight-lined seating. It works as a bedside table for a lamp and a glass. In a sunroom or a reading nook it holds a plant or a cup of tea.

Care & Customization

Dust the shaped edge with a soft dry cloth, following the outline rather than cutting across it. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from damp, and wipe spills quickly. Custom sizing and a choice of tone finish can be arranged before production begins.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
