A three-drawer pedestal anchors the other end, so the desk balances a sculptural gesture against real working storage. It reads beautifully in a studio or a light-filled home office.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood with a smooth hand-finished worktop

Support panel pierced by a large circular opening

Three drawers stacked in a pedestal at the opposite end

Softly rounded worktop edges that follow the flowing support shape

Open central layout keeps the workstation visually light

Generous surface for a screen, notebooks and daily paperwork

Size and tone finish chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

A circle is unforgiving: any flat spot in the curve is obvious the moment light falls through it, so the opening is cut oversize and then worked back slowly until the line runs true all the way round. Our makers smooth the inner face with the grain and check it against the light before moving on. The worktop is joined from solid blocks, flattened and rounded at the edges so the whole piece feels continuous with the curve of the support. The three drawers are fitted one at a time and the stack adjusted until the fronts align. Panel, pedestal and top are trued together before a gentle protective coat is rubbed in.

Placement & Use

Face the circular end into the room so the opening frames whatever sits behind it. The desk gives a designer, a writer or a consultant a broad and uncluttered surface, with everyday items kept out of sight in the pedestal.

Care & Customization

Clean with a soft dry cloth and run it round the inside of the opening when you dust. Keep the desk clear of damp, heat vents and strong direct sunlight, and use a coaster under mugs or glasses.
