sculptural-four-petal-end-table-with-flared-pedestal-and-solid-wood-design
Sculptural Four Petal End Table with Flared Pedestal and Solid Wood Design

An end table in Natural Solid Wood whose petal-shaped top sits on a short conical pedestal that spreads out where it meets the floor. The pedestal is left plain and solid so the shaped edge above does all the talking. It reads as compact and grounded, suited to a room that already has plenty going on.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood with a protective surface coat

Petal-shaped top with rounded lobes and a fully eased edge

Short conical pedestal, flaring toward the floor for stability

Compact footprint that suits narrow gaps between seats

Continuous solid form with no legs, brackets or visible fixings

Every lobe is shaped by hand, so each top is its own

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The pedestal is cut from solid stock and pared into a clean cone, kept deliberately plain so it does not fight the shaped top above it. Our makers widen the base as far as the proportions allow, which is what keeps a small table steady when someone leans on the edge. The top is cut into its lobed outline and then rounded over from both faces until the rim feels continuous to the hand. It is levelled last, so a mug stands flat wherever it is put down. A hand-applied sealer closes the surface while leaving the grain and the small marks of the tools readable.

Placement & Use

Slot it between two chairs where a rounded outline avoids sharp corners in the walkway. It works beside a bed, holding a lamp and a glass without crowding the mattress. In a smaller lounge it gives a seat its own surface without eating the floor.

Care & Customization

Dust the lobed edge and the cone with a soft dry cloth. Keep the table clear of direct sun, radiators and damp corners, and use a coaster under wet glasses. Custom sizing and a choice of tone finish can be agreed before production starts.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
