The edges are rounded everywhere, leaving nothing angular in the outline. It settles well into rooms that favour soft, flowing furniture.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood with a protective surface coat

Flowing pedestal that twists as it climbs toward the top

Organically shaped upper surface with a softly curving outline

Broad base pad rests flat on the floor, with no separate legs

Every edge is rounded over, so there are no sharp corners

The twist is shaped by hand and takes its own line each time

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

Blocks of kiln-dried solid wood are joined and then carved together, so the twist in the pedestal runs through the timber rather than being assembled out of separate curved parts. Our makers shape the column in stages, checking the sweep from several viewpoints before committing to the final line. The top is worked last: it is levelled so that a cup will sit flat, while its outline is left irregular to match the movement below. Where the pedestal reaches the floor the form broadens into a pad, which spreads the load and keeps the table steady against a nudge. A hand-rubbed sealer finishes the piece, leaving the surface smooth without hiding the texture of the wood.

Placement & Use

Set it beside a sofa or a reading chair, where the curve of the pedestal is in easy view. It suits a bedroom as a compact nightstand with nothing to knock into. In a quieter corner it can simply carry a plant or a lamp.

Care & Customization

Wipe the top with a soft dry cloth and follow the twist of the pedestal now and then to lift dust from the hollows. Keep the table away from direct sun and damp corners. Custom sizing and your preferred tone finish can be agreed before production starts.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
