The curve is deep and the timber generous, giving the piece a confident modern line. It belongs beside low, soft seating.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood and sealed with a protective coat

Deep S-curve carrying the top well forward of the foot

Generous flat surface for a lamp, a tray or a pair of books

Broad foot pad anchors the cantilever against tipping

Continuous form with no legs, brackets or visible fixings

Every curve is cut by hand and holds its own proportions

Size and tone finish are chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The S is carved from joined blocks of kiln-dried solid wood worked as a single body, so there is no joint sitting at the point of greatest stress. Our makers leave extra mass in the lower curve, which is what lets the top reach so far out without the piece feeling unsteady. The outer face of the sweep is smoothed in long passes so the light runs evenly down it, and the inner face is given the same treatment. Once the body is shaped, the upper surface is levelled independently so it is flat regardless of the curve below. The finish goes on by hand in thin coats, protecting the wood while leaving its texture open.

Placement & Use

Push the top out across the arm or the seat of a sofa and let the foot sit hidden underneath. It works the same way beside a lounge chair or a daybed. In a reading corner it puts a book and a mug exactly where your hand falls.

Care & Customization

Dust the surface and run a soft dry cloth down the curve to the foot. Keep the piece out of direct sun and away from damp walls, and wipe spills promptly. Custom sizing and a choice of tone finish can be arranged before production begins.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
