That wave is the drama of the piece: it rises and falls across the open centre, catching the light differently as you move past. It gives a contemporary seating area a low architectural anchor.

Product Highlights

Handcrafted from Natural Solid Wood, finished to keep the grain tactile underhand

Sculptural wave band sweeps between the two solid side panels

Open centre keeps a heavy-looking structure visually light

Broad flat top stays clear for serving trays and everyday objects

Side panels curve down to meet the floor without separate feet

Crisp, low profile that suits sectional seating

Size and tone finish chosen at the point of order

Design & Craftsmanship

The wave is cut and shaped as a structural member, not applied afterwards, so it has to be faired into both side panels while keeping its rhythm unbroken. Our makers shape it in passes, standing the assembly at seated eye level between each one, because that is the height from which the curve will actually be read. The side panels are worked from joined solid stock and rounded where they turn toward the floor, so no sharp arris sits at shin height. The top is planed flat, eased at the edge and checked for level once the base is dry-fitted. A gentle protective finish is then worked in, lifting the figure of the timber without adding gloss.

Placement & Use

Set it centrally in front of a sectional or a pair of sofas, where the wave can be seen along its length rather than end on. It also suits an open-plan living space, since every face of the base is finished and none of it needs to be hidden against a wall.

Care & Customization

Dust with a soft dry cloth and follow the curve of the wave rather than working across it. Keep the piece clear of damp corners, radiators and long hours of direct sun, and rest a pad under warm or wet items. Sizing and tone finish can be tailored ahead of production.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed with protective materials so it arrives without dents or cracks.
