wood-entryway-bench-with-wavy-slab-top-on-single-loop-and-hook-ribbon-base
Wood Entryway Bench with Wavy Slab Top on Single Loop-and-Hook Ribbon Base

Flowing and low, this wood entryway bench is carved as a single ribbon of timber that loops to the floor and rises into a slender, wavy-edged top. The continuous form leaves an open curve of negative space beneath, so the slim slab appears to float above the ground. A quietly sculptural piece for a modern home.

Product Highlights

Material: Crafted from carefully selected sections of Natural Solid Wood, joined and meticulously finished to form the slender wavy slab top, the continuous looping base, the closed floor loop and the single hooked leg. Depending on the finished size and shipping requirements, some parts may need to be assembled after delivery.

One continuous ribbon of wood, no joints on show

Slender wavy-edged slab top with eased, rounded corners

Large closed loop anchors the piece to the floor

Single hooked leg balances the open span

Smooth satin sheen following the flowing grain

Design & Craftsmanship

Every curve is shaped by hand, so the grain runs unbroken from the floor loop up and over the top. As a modern wood entryway bench, it reads as one gesture rather than a top set on legs, with a thin flat-sided slab and softly rounded arrises. The eased ends flow smoothly into the base, and a satin finish catches the light along each sweep, highlighting the continuous grain that follows the curves.

Placement & Use

Set this natural wood entryway bench along a hallway wall or just inside the front door, where its low profile keeps sightlines open. It also suits a living room behind a sofa or under a window as a sculptural surface for a few favourite objects.

Care & Customization

Wipe this solid wood entryway bench with a soft, dry cloth and clear spills promptly to protect the finish. Keep it away from direct heat and damp to preserve the wood. Size and finish can be chosen when you order to suit your space.

Shipping & Assembly

Each piece is packed securely so it arrives without dents or cracks.
